Lead Sponsor
Gift of $25,000+
The generous support provided by Lead Sponsors makes it possible for visitors to experience our dynamic exhibitions, as well as the exceptional public programs, in-gallery activities, and educational resources enjoyed by audiences. With gifts of $25,000 or more, Lead Sponsors receive priority recognition on the exhibition title wall, the Phillips website, the member magazine, and event invitations. They will also gather for exclusive opportunities such as a special dinner hosted by a partner embassy, exclusive meetings with curators and exhibition designers, a toast and first look at the installation, and other private events to celebrate the exhibition’s opening.
Exhibition Committee
Gift of $10,000 and above
Exhibition Committee sponsors provide critical support that enables the museum to bring groundbreaking exhibitions to the Phillips and the Washington, DC community. With gifts of $10,000 or more, Exhibition Committee supporters are acknowledged on the exhibition title wall, the Phillips website, the member magazine, and event invitations. They will also gather for exclusive opportunities such as a special dinner hosted by a partner embassy, exclusive meetings with curators and exhibition designers, a toast and firstlook at the installation, and other private events to celebrate the exhibition’s opening.
Artwork Sponsor
Gift of $5,000
For many exhibitions, you may opt to help fund with the transportation of art from other institutions and private collections. The museum must account for courier services, crating, and shipping costs—often up to 50% of the exhibition’s budget. With a gift of $5,000, individuals may sponsor a specific work featured in the exhibition. Artwork Sponsors will be recognized for making possible the presentation of the work on its wall label, and will enjoy unique opportunities such as a toast and first-look at the installation and other private events to celebrate the exhibition’s opening.
Exhibition Friend
Gift of $2,000
With a special one-time contribution of $2,000, Exhibition Friend supporters can make an important contribution to the success of an exhibition. Exhibition Friends will have an opportunity to participate in a number of special events including an exhibition preview, an intimate curator-led tour of the exhibition, and an annual donor appreciation event hosted by the Vradenburg Director & CEO and the Board of Trustees.
